Here is some really cool tin art they make here in Haiti. One of my favorite spots to take tourists is the Tin Market. They have alot of merchants that sell a large variety of beautiful works of art such as serving platters, scriptural sayings, bowls, and many neat wall hangings. They take a piece of tin and you can watch them cut out and tap out something beautiful out of tin art. I have 2 pieces to sell, there will be more coming later.......

Wendy LavyThis blog was inspired by the creativity of the Haitian people. The ideas of how they "Go Green" is because they have to save and make do with what they have. Unlike the American people with too much, that they don't think about waste. Their gardening and produce is grown mostly without pesticides, because they don't have it or they cannot afford it. In 2012-2014 our family had the opportunity to serve as missionaries in Haiti. We learned a lot and made many new friends there. Although we are now back to our home in America, we left a piece of our hearts there and try to visit and help where we can. Archives
