People working with their hands, to survive

It is interesting to me to see how the people here in Haiti work so hard, just to survive. We work so we can live today and in the future, they live day by day. We sometimes have extra money for nice houses, cars, vacations ect....Most of them would never have that privilege. Here is a look at some and how they are working to do what they can.

Selling at the local market is something that many do. Markets are a common thing as they buy goods for each day. The vegetables and fruits are beautiful, some do well at their display!

I like this picture because it looks quaint. This man is making jewelry, watches ect...working with his hands the best he knows.

Eph_4:28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

This blog was inspired by the creativity of the Haitian people. The ideas of how they "Go Green" is because they have to save and make do with what they have. Unlike the American people with too much, that they don't think about waste. Their gardening and produce is grown mostly without pesticides, because they don't have it or they cannot afford it. In 2012-2014 our family had the opportunity to serve as missionaries in Haiti. We learned a lot and made many new friends there. Although we are now back to our home in America, we left a piece of our hearts there and try to visit and help where we can.
