Do you have your own chicks? or are you like me and like the fresh eggs but don't like raising chicks??
I just love little baby chicks! They are so cute when they are little, but ohh so ugly when they get older. But I love the results you get from the old ugly chicks. Fresh eggs. Here at "Double Harvest" in Haiti, is a large production of a mission giving opportunities to Haitians. They have a lg. nursery, agriculture, fish hatchery and an egg production. We like to come here to see the scenery and come home with fresh eggs. I guess it seems like a little piece of home.

Wendy LavyThis blog was inspired by the creativity of the Haitian people. The ideas of how they "Go Green" is because they have to save and make do with what they have. Unlike the American people with too much, that they don't think about waste. Their gardening and produce is grown mostly without pesticides, because they don't have it or they cannot afford it. In 2012-2014 our family had the opportunity to serve as missionaries in Haiti. We learned a lot and made many new friends there. Although we are now back to our home in America, we left a piece of our hearts there and try to visit and help where we can. Archives
