The bees just love to hang out with me these days...they even find me at market. God has a special purpose for these bees and they are doing just what He designed them to do. Am I doing exactly what God has designed for me to do, just like the bees?

Here is what happens early in the morning at our place....Aaron or I pick the sunflowers and Rylan, Kenslie and Jayla help cut off leaves. It can be a real struggle for most of us when we have to get out in the field @ 6 am! But I love being out there with all those flowers. :)

The Sunday school class from our girls class went and shared the love of Jesus as they passed out sunflowers, to the older folks at the Covington Care center yesterday. They sang some songs to them, and it was just fun for the kids to see how they could brighten someone else's day by such a simple act of kindness!

Sunflowers make us smile!

My first sunflower popped out this week!

God made sunflowers to make us smile. Why? Because Sunflowers need sun to make them bloom and show their pretty faces. We also need sunshine to glow, especially when we have had so many rainy days in Ohio this past May and June.:) I smiled this week when my first sunflower popped out! The florist really smile when I come with those first sunflowers and the customers at Market always smile and are drawn to the sunflowers. I didn't used to really like sunflowers, but I've changed my mind and I think that makes God smile.:)

    Wendy Lavy

This blog was inspired by the creativity of the Haitian people. The ideas of how they "Go Green" is because they have to save and make do with what they have. Unlike the American people with too much, that they don't think about waste. Their gardening and produce is grown mostly without pesticides, because they don't have it or they cannot afford it. In 2012-2014 our family had the opportunity to serve as missionaries in Haiti. We learned a lot and made many new friends there. Although we are now back to our home in America, we left a piece of our hearts there and try to visit and help where we can.
