Check out this photo from downtown Port-au-Prince! This city was once a booming tourist place. I liked this old hotel sign, a great photo that I recently had mounted on a 1/16" thick mat board. It is ready to buy for $6. I will be selling this, along with other boutique and vintage finds, boxwood wreaths and decor. for Easter on the 12th of April. http://www.springfieldantiqueshow.com/ I will be selling there from 8am-5pm.

I haven't heard anything yet about downtown Port-au-Prince, but it's good to know that it was an old place where people would choose to have their chill moments and get the chance to think widely. Too bad because they have lost that glimmer anymore. Well, there are still ways on how to relive the moment, the officers just have to work hard on that, but I always believe that it is possible. By the way, if you are planning to make business there, you need to start as soon as possible!

Wendy LavyThis blog was inspired by the creativity of the Haitian people. The ideas of how they "Go Green" is because they have to save and make do with what they have. Unlike the American people with too much, that they don't think about waste. Their gardening and produce is grown mostly without pesticides, because they don't have it or they cannot afford it. In 2012-2014 our family had the opportunity to serve as missionaries in Haiti. We learned a lot and made many new friends there. Although we are now back to our home in America, we left a piece of our hearts there and try to visit and help where we can. Archives
